I broke 100! For the first time in probably five years or more, I have a platelet count exceeding 100 K/ul. And while I recognize that my mark of 109 is still only about 83% of the low end of the "normal" range, it's still quite good for me. I had been happy with the 70-90 range I'd been seeing for the last few years, and just assumed that would be what was normal for me.

A friendly phlebotomist named Katie had the dubious honor of stabbing me drawing my blood, and Dr. Cho delivered the good news. It was a very nice surprise; a good way to perk up what had been an otherwise challenging week.
